In “Gang Related: Job Interview,” our hero walks into a perfectly respectable job interview armed with confidence, experience, and absolutely no understanding of which parts of his past should remain undisclosed. What follows is a master class in answering perfectly reasonable questions with increasingly incriminating information.
Leadership skills? Sure. Team management? You bet. Handling difficult situations? Let’s just say nobody involved was wearing a name tag. As the interview progresses, the hiring manager slowly realizes that he may not be interviewing a prospective employee so much as conducting an informal confession. But give the guy credit—he’s motivated, he’s a team player, and he’s apparently very good at getting things that don’t belong to him. Somewhere out there, there’s an employer willing to look past his questionable background. It just probably isn’t this one.
