Concept: Bear, DevamathaEvery great trivia team needs a great name. Preferably one that sounds clever, intimidating, and vaguely like it could have been shouted by a drunk cowboy outside a saloon. In “Gang Related: Name Brainstorm,” the Posse puts their collective brainpower toward the very serious business of coming up with a Western-themed trivia team name. The brainstorming gets off to a rocky start…

Producer: Drrrty A, dubs, Lil PDSSome grandmothers bake cookies, tell stories, and spoil their grandchildren. Others answer the phone like they’ve just been personally offended by its existence. “Grouchy Phone Granny” introduces us to one of the latter—and she has apparently reached the age where giving a shit about anybody else’s problems is no longer covered under her warranty. What should be a simple phone conversation quickly becomes an exercise in elderly hostility…

Meanwhile, back on the homestead, Martha is doing her best to keep the farm, the children, and the Lord’s work moving forward. Unfortunately, Abel has been trampled by the family bull and is currently residing in the root cellar until the ground thaws.
Things deteriorate from there. Listen to the entire series to learn about how tough life is on the Trivia Prairie.

VO: Bear, Phal
Producer: Bear, Phal, DevamathaThe Wild West was a harsh and unforgiving place, filled with outlaws, tumbleweeds, dust storms, suspicious bartenders, aggressive wildlife, and men named Lucky who were almost certainly not. Fortunately, the Goat Posse has assembled the Prospector’s Guide to Surviving the Wild West, a comprehensive 39-point instructional manual designed to keep you alive through the application of questionable logic and extremely confident behavior.
This one feels less like a historical guide and more like a pamphlet written by a man who survived the Wild West entirely through confidence, poor judgment, and an alarming willingness to challenge coyotes.

The American West was a lawless frontier filled with desperados, varmints, outlaws, suspiciously named cowpokes, and at least one person apparently impersonating Tom Selleck. Fortunately, KVSC Trivia has assembled its most highly trained bounty-hunting professionals to track down the Wild and Wanted—a collection of the region’s most dangerous, annoying, and questionably wanted individuals.
Meet Smilin’ Sue, who lures innocent travelers with warm smiles and hot meals before robbing them blind. Bamboozlin’ Brady, wanted for spreading balderdash and general buffoonery. And Jumpin’ Jamo, whose repeated raids on Farmer Mary Jane’s garden have left the homestead—and apparently Mary Jane herself—smoldering.
The bounty board only gets stranger from there…

Safe Harbor can’t be described, it can only be felt, sometimes sensuously. You walk into a place of fun and relaxation, looking for two men who might help you, you may not find them, but fun may find you.

Sometimes a rivalry is just a rivalry. Other times, it gets really, really heated. “It’s All Heated Rivalry” takes the concept of competitive tension and asks the important question: what if everyone involved had absolutely no interest in keeping things civilized? What begins as a little friendly competition quickly devolves into accusations, posturing, questionable behavior, and enough testosterone to make a propane grill nervous. It’s a tale of two sides locked in mortal combat, neither willing to back down, and both apparently willing to cross several lines that probably shouldn’t have been crossed in the first place. In the end, nobody really wins—but somebody definitely needs a shower.

Production: Pokéjohn
Editing: dubs - WEB EXCLUSIVE: Big and Thicc
Big and Thicc is the Goat Posse’s unapologetic anthem to excess, questionable judgment, and the firm belief that there is no such thing as “enough.” Inspired by Big & Rich’s country classic, this barnyard banger trades cowboys and horsepower for latex, livestock, and a protagonist whose appetite for chaos is considerably larger than the average goats. From the moment the opening “Cum Daddy” starts echoing across the pasture, things spiral gloriously out of control. It’s loud, ridiculous, profoundly unnecessary, and somehow still manages to feel like a perfectly respectable night at the Goat Posse shed. Saddle up, grab your sense of dignity, and prepare for a Big and Thicc good time.

Production: PokéjohnThe Goat Posse takes Dolly Parton’s timeless plea from “Jolene” and gives it a sleep-deprived Trivia Weekend makeover, replacing the dangerous allure of a rival woman with the far more powerful—and arguably more destructive—force of caffeine.
From Venti lattes and whole-fat cream to Red Bull, Monster, Mountain Dew, Celsius, green tea and even Coke, the narrator is willing to consume virtually anything that might keep their eyes open long enough to answer another question. Coffee isn’t merely a beverage anymore; it is a desperate lifeline standing between a trivia player and complete cognitive collapse. Lyrics after the jump!

Post Production: dubs, OatesWhat began as a perfectly ordinary D&D campaign takes a turn for the catastrophically stupid when the party cracks open an ancient tome containing enough evil magic to make even the DM’s mother nervous. Naturally, they try to destroy it, which goes about as well as anything involving a natural one can possibly go.
With their options—and apparently their intelligence—running out, the adventurers resort to increasingly desperate tactics, questionable spellcasting and at least one attack that should probably get their adventuring licenses revoked… Lyrics after the jump!

We mean no harm, of course—it all comes from a place of love, respect, and the deeply held belief that after 56 years, it might finally be time for Stevens Point to Speed Up.

Cowboy: CocoTired of the rat race, one brave idiot decides to abandon stocks, investors, and indoor plumbing for the glamorous life of a Wild West cowboy. Armed with a horse, two cows named Mooberries and Lucky Steve, and absolutely no understanding of what cowboying actually entails, he heads into the desert to pursue his dream.
What follows is a journey so profoundly detached from reality that even the Wild West would like to distance itself from the incident. Somewhere out there, between the North Pole, Morse-code birds, and space lizards, our cowboy discovers that not every glittering dream is gold. Some of it is just really, really good mushrooms.

The beat is my heart & the West is the beat, taking you straight into a dusty saloon where cards are dealt, stakes are raised, six-shooters are loaded, and somebody is about to have a very bad night.
It’s all cowboys, outlaws, whiskey and wild-west swagger until our hero discovers that winning big at the poker table may come with a price he didn’t read in the fine print. From there, things get a little… supernatural, as Deadwood takes on some unexpected new residents, civic duties continue beyond the grave, and the eternal question becomes: if you’re already dead, do you still have to attend the city council meeting?

After starting strong, the team discovers that not studying, guessing wildly, getting kicked off the phones, searching YouTube for clues, and contemplating bribing the host may not actually constitute a winning strategy. With every “mullet” and wild-ass guess sending them further down the standings, the team begins to accept their grim destiny: becoming the laughing stock of the phone bank in what may be the worst radio game show performance KVSC has ever witnessed. See the Fallout after the jump.

Every February, the KVSC Trivia team begins its annual campaign of recruitment, luring unsuspecting players with promises of fancy food, comfy beds, unlimited caffeine, and the irresistible opportunity to spend 50 straight hours answering increasingly ridiculous questions.
What starts as a friendly invitation quickly becomes a full-blown hostage negotiation as teammates are pressured to investigate clues, dominate speed rounds, abandon sleep, and pledge their eternal allegiance to the team—and heaven help anyone who mentions joining another team. With the Travel Urn tantalizingly within reach, the stakes are high, the caffeine is flowing, and the encyclopedias are coming out. It’s all fun and games until somebody threatens to leave… then the guilt trip begins. Lyrics after the jump.
